My counselors and my lords sought me
and I was established in my kingdom
and still more greatness was added to me.
Daniel 4:36 ESV
The king, who always needed many advisers, was now the one who ‘knew.’ Before, Nebuchadnezzar was so ignorant and blind that he had to have a whole range of counselors and wise men. Now they seek him. Why? The man who has met God on His throne, knows the basis to universal wisdom. It is this: God is God!
God will secure the position He has assigned to a person, when He is pleased with the one who knows His supreme position.
