Matthew 4 ~ 1. Listen 2. Obey 3. Worship/Serve
The enemy’s temptation is always to come in and distract to things, people, self, works. "Do, jump, control.’" Satan has one agenda – to divide us away from relationship with God. He distracts, bombards, provokes . . . lies! So complicated and heavy it all seems!
Life with God is the simplicity of relationship. One relationship!
Jesus answered from scripture but those three quotes were the defense of His one union to God, His One allegiance. His relationship was unshakable, His focus was not distractable. Oh, to read the gospels just to watch His relationship with the Father, we would see ONE. He was ONE with the Father.
