The reporting of the media is attempting to prove that God is not good, that there is a crisis and that He is not in control. The government is attempting to supply for the widows, orphans and the needy in an attempt to prove that God is not good and that government and man is good. The world is attempting to prove that God is not good, that He is inept and that He does not care. The world will always be at enmity with God. The world will always say that He is not good. That He is down on the job and not fulfilling His covenant. And those in love with the world listen, hear and dwell in fear. The world will always listen to the world but those who are God's will listen to the Shepherd. Fear is unbelief. Fear is also trust in evil. It is insulting to God and His character.  Though we may fail to understand His ways He is perfect and has yet to fail us.  

If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you.
