In the Beginning, God
(prepared, formed, fashioned, and)
created the heavens and the earth.
GENESIS 1:1

God created the heavens . . .
heaven first.
Heaven - always first.

Heaven rules and earth is ever
second, subject to heaven's dominion.

The earth was found to be a formless ruin.
But heaven was not.
Heaven is order. Absolute order.

Heaven was separate from earth's primal confusion
and was made, and created before all else.

Heaven and earth are unjoined.
They were made . . . separate.
Distinct spheres.

Earth is every tangible that we know.
but heaven, a vast mystery,
was before all and remains above all.

The "heavens" cannot be seen, nor its location known.
It is plural while earth is a mere single.

Heavens, a hidden place of complex levels,
while earth is entirely simple and
open before the heavens.

The heavens rule. The sun rules life and light,
the moon rules tides and growth.
These are the visible proof that
the heavens reign over all the earth in a
majestic system of action . . . from above.

Heaven holds all the secrets that earth needs,
being the Seat of God and
the realm of angelic helpers.
Our Father IS in heaven . . . .

Heaven has the reigning jurisdiction.
It has its own criterion and is closed
to all but the guileless child of God.
John 1:51

The counsels of heaven observe
the Plans of the Almighty,
perfect and glorious, what-could-be
earth's enjoyment if only
heaven were accessed.

For heaven to open its portals over earth,
for that realm to be seen and heard and
the mystery of God's Favorite Ideas revealed . . .
this is a stunning human experience,
granted only to those who place
their deepest hopes and richest treasures
in that Above.
