Brief Description
This series is an excerpt from The Good Shepherd series - messages 7, 8 & 9. In light of our Podcast Episodes #2 thru #6, we are making these three messages available apart from The Good Shepherd as they specifically deal with the areas of the heart that these podcasts delve into. The complete set of 12 messages (The Good Shepherd series) more completely deals with the issues and solutions surrounding inner healing of childhood wounds.
The most binding relationship in one's entire life is of the child to the parent. The reaction of a child to the parent is: "I will never do that." We wanted our parents to be God, and we're bitter with them because they were not.
The great crisis of the Christian life is dealing with family.
God is in direct competition with your mom and dad
to be the parent of your life.If you want Him, the work of dealing with parents must be done.
